For flight instructors
Free for CFIs. Sponsored seats for your students. Progress you can see.
Radio work is the part of training that costs the most dual time to fix and the part students practise least between lessons. TowerTalk gives them a controller to practise with between lessons and gives you the graded record, so the next lesson starts from what they actually said.
Free for you
An instructor account costs nothing and includes the practice tools: exercises, Virtual ATC at any US airport, scenarios and the radio check.
Seats for your students
A student either holds their own account or you sponsor a seat for them. A sponsored seat is a one-off fee per student, bought in a block, and most instructors fold it into their lesson rate. Either way their graded calls appear on your dashboard.
Progress you can see
Each student's graded calls, scores, phraseology areas and weak spots, in one place, referenced to the AIM paragraph the grader used.
Live rooms included
Run a shared frequency with a student or a group and take the controller seat yourself, at no charge.
Bring your own content
Replace or add to the default exercises with your school's own prompts and notes.
Your airport
Any of the 4,700+ public-use airports in the FAA data, with its real frequencies, today's METAR and the real traffic nearby.
Ask us to set you up
Tell us your airport and roughly how many students. We reply by email and turn the instructor tier on for your account.

TowerTalk is a training aid and is not approved or endorsed by the FAA. What students practise is written from the FAA AIM, the Pilot/Controller Glossary and JO 7110.65 with paragraph references; you and their examiner remain the authorities.
